Reading

KoolMinds uses the Orton-Gillingham, Structured Word Inquiry, and Speech-to-Read components in our approach.
In addition to teaching reading and spelling, we teach grammar and work to improve the students reading fluency and grow their vocabulary by teaching morphology/etymology. 
DYSGRAPHIA

Writing

KoolMinds provides instruction for improving handwriting and writing skills. These skills include pencil grip, letter formation, cursive letters and general mechanics.

Math

KoolMinds Multi-sensory math is a complete and comprehensive K-12 math curriculum. Each level concentrates on a specific set of skills, while continuously reviewing and integrating topics and concepts presented in previous levels. 

We start with introductory math skills and go all the way through to Calculus.

BrainWorks is a 26 Week Program that helps develop the 10 essential cognitive skills required for
 life and learning.

Children First Education Fund
Children First Education Fund is a Special Needs Opportunity Scholarship which is eligible for tuition payments or tutoring services. Tax credit donations to CFEF are able to be designated to your school to fund additional special needs students.

Utah Education Fits All 
The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program provides up to $8,000 per eligible student for the 2024-25 school year. Parents are given the choice and flexibility to spend scholarship funds in the best interests of their student(s).

Applications for 2024-2025 are open February 28-April 15, 2024.
